Sorpresa, sorpresa, sorpresa

After many years of marriage, one would think that I had my wife pretty much figured out. Well, one would be wrong. This newest addition to my portfolio was basically an experiment in pouring latex paint. I didn't care for the original painting underneath, so I thought, what the heck. To my surprise, my wife seemed to really like it. Didn't think it was her thing at all. But it now hangs over our mantle. From the recycle pile to the position of honor, what a transition.
